Hannah from knick knacks & ric rac created these amazing Gingerbread Heart ornaments using felt, rick rack, and pom poms (a masterful use of those dollar store favorites!). So adorable. Her blog also includes a tutorial on making rick rack flowers to adorn the hearts with.

If you hurry and make a batch of these tasty ornaments, they'll make amazing holiday gifts for everyone on your list. I have always been a fan of giving co-workers ornaments for holidays, myself.

If your holiday crafting list is too full to fit these cuties in, they'll save until Valentine's Day, or even for Oktoberfest.

Project Estimate:

Felt sheets: 20 cents each (You can get about 2 hearts per sheet, I'd guess)
Rick Rack: $1
Pom Poms: $1

Total Project Cost: $4 for 10 hearts, or 40 cents each
