Give your old sweater a dose of Alpine Chic

2 January 2009 635 views No Comment

Hannah, the master crafter in charge of Made With Love By Hannah and writer of a very fun blog, knick knacks & ric rac, reconned two innocuous thrift store sweaters into these alpine confections of love using ribbon, rick rack, and fun buttons.

Start 2009 out with some colorful fun sweaters!

Project Estimate:

  • One of your old sweaters: FREE
  • Ribbon & Rick Rack, approx 5 yards: $5
  • Chain for button fastening: $5 (or try crocheting a chain with metallic thread!)
  • Buttons you have on hand: FREE

Total Cost: $5 and up, depending on what you have on hand
