Grace Violet posted a detailed tutorial on how to make skirts out of a tea towel! You know I love my tea towel crafts. This is a great tutorial, so check it out if you have little girls.[via one crafty place]

The dollar store has a big selection of tea towels, so keep your eye out for one that would be cute for your little one to wear. Of course, not ALL tea towels are good candidates - you don't want to go TOO Maria VonTrapp and the old curtains into playclothes here! Check the ribbon section at the DS for some cheap and cute adornments.

Project Estimate:

  • Tea towel, $1
  • Sewing machine, on hand

Total cost: $1

How do I get the pattern to make the tea towel skirt? It is just precious for my 3 year old, who will NOT wear pants
