This is an awesome idea. I love that peacock stamp. My friend even does tiles with decopauging scrapbook paper onto the tiles if you aren't a stamping person.
I have never heard of Starzon ink for the condensation prevention running but I definetly want to look into it.

Thanks!

So so so cute! My boss did this last year for gifts around the office, but she put hers in those little easels you get at the dollar store.

I have made many coasters. You really need to use StazOn ink pads, so it won't come off w/ the condensation from your glass. You can color them in with Sharpie markers or use a glue that dries shiny mixed w/ reinker for regular ink pads. You also should spray a Krylon sealer on it to protect the artwork.
Mine look good 3-4 yrs. later, but my dad uses a lot of ice and the pics are wearing off on his.

What a gorgeous stamp! I have done this and the tiles turned out beautifully. I've also used colored Sharpies to color in the images. :)

I'm thinking this would require special ink, no? Perhaps that Stayz-on brand? I'm guessing the ink from a $1 ink pad would rub off the coaster.
