Make a Pretty Ribbon-Covered Canister

Check out these super cute canisters made with stuff from the dollar store! I love the clever use of glass marbles. I wonder what kinds of fun things are kept inside? They'd be super cute on a vanity table or in a powder room. You could even skip the marbles and use the canisters to hold your Father's Day gift, whatever that might be. Or, you could go the marble magnet route and actually put pictures or printed paper under the marbles for extra visual coolness. [click here for full tutorial at CraftyBitch 101]

Project Estimate:

  • Cardboard canister, $1
  • Ribbon, $1 each
  • Glass marbles, $1
  • Double-sided tape, on hand or $1
  • E-6000 glue (recommended for the marbles), on hand

Total: $3 and up

Humm, or search the kitchen for that clean canister, jar, or container you’ve been saving in the ‘some-project-at-some-point’ pile!
