I looked through all the archives at Rufflesandstuff.com and it’s not on the site anymore. I emailed the author, so maybe she’ll repost the tutorial or let me republish it.

If not, the basic jist of the tutorial is that you cut a whole bunch of squares out of jersey (t-shirt like material) with your rotary cutter, then you lay them out overlapping each other, pin them together, and then sew down the middle of the line with a stretch stitch on your sewing machine.
