Dead Fairies by Craftster user Varifiresis: $2

Take a dollar store skeleton garland, some black faux flowers, and create these macabre little fairies for your Halloween decor!

Halloween Village by Claudine Hellmuth: $1

I loved the Holiday Village Claudine made last year, and she’s updated the idea for Halloween. Love the gothic touch of using sheet music as the base for the houses. Cute!

Halloween Topiary Makeover by Let It Shine: $4 and up

This is a brilliant makeover of a thrift store topiary tree by Alyshia at Let It Shine. She spray painted the tree, the greenery that was included with it, and added dollar store spiders and webs (also spray painted). Completely smart redo! Wonder what she’ll do with it for Christmas?? Silver Pumpkins by Let it Shine: $1

Alyshia also did this quick makeover of styrofoam pumpkins inspired by Martha Stewart using silver spray paint. Cute!

Pumpkin Candleabra by Buildeth Her House: $.50

Valencia used this cute trick to decorate her existing candle holders: stick a styrofoam pumpkin on them. Love it! She has a lot of other great, thrifty decor ideas at her blog.
