I came across an article in one of the gardening magazines where a woman made glass "towers" out of various glued-together glass pieces, creating quite an effect. The towers were placed artfully around her garden, making the eye wander between her great variety of colorful plantings and her whimsical glass structures. I was very inspired with that idea and love this one, too.

I simply love this idea and have used an old plate and glued it to a sherbert dish. It works great for cookies or cakes. I want to try this with colored glass for the holidays for dips and nuts.

Several years ago, I bought two porcelain bowls (one bigger than the other) and glued them together with the bigger bowl on top. It now sits on my dresser and holds jewelry!

I agree, thrift shops are sooo much fun! This is a fantastic project for thrifted items, or even stuff you have on hand that you don't use.

I have found "vintage" plates and such for 25 and 50 cents, making this project even cheaper! More fun for me too, because even though I enjoy the dollar stores, I LOVE thrift shops! I will be posting some of my finds later this week after I host a table at a ladies tea.

And nuts. And maybe fruit. Oh the possibilities are endless.
Thanks! Will make our Christmas spread look great!
