I loved this idea when I saw it and made one the next day. So simple and so beautiful yet funky! It took me about 2 hours (I had a friend rip out pages for me as I glued). I brought it in to show my coworkers and they were so impressed.

I did not staple my pages, but I agree with Mike here that stapling would have made it much easier. I burnt my fingers many times trying to hot glue all those folds down. Thanks for sharing such a fantastic idea.

I like your idea Heather – use the pesky phone books! And then spray paint it gold or silver!

Fantastic project…just finished mine…sooooo easy. I used a stapler to secure the rolled paper and then glue to attach to form , even easir I think !

My husband and I just saw a wreath very similar to this at Crate and Barrel. I was made of a wood paper and was $50.
