Reader Stephanie Lynn from Under The Table and Dreaming dreamed up this amazing word art made from dollar store wall decals – she cleverly adhered them to a fabric covered canvas to create an inspirational decor piece. [click here for inspirational word art tutorial]

Have you checked the dollar store wall decal selection? There are usually a lot of stickers to choose from. I have purchased several of the kid-themed stickers for my sons, and my $1 spent was well worth it because my sons had at least an hour’s worth of fun sticking them on their walls (and new room decorations as well!) You can use this idea to make art that fits with your personal taste and decor.

Project Estimate:

  • Blank stretched art canvas, $1
  • Scrap fabric, on hand
  • Wall decals, $1

Total: $2 and up
