Make a Two Tea Towel Apron (Pretty!)
by heather
Reader Emily from The Pickled Weasel sent me this great project for a tea towel apron. At this point, we've done a few tea towel apron patterns, so you know this one must be special to be featured! And it is definitely special! I love the technique used for making this pretty and practical apron. See below for a photo of the unique way this apron is assembled (it creates useful pockets!). This is a great idea for your handmade holiday gifting. [click here for the tea towel apron tutorial]
Project Estimate:
- Two tea towels, $1 each
- Twill tape or ribbon, on hand or $1
- Sewing stuff, on hand
Total: $2 and up

This is awesome, thanks so much for posting this! Just what I needed for some last minute gifts =)
So cute! I’m going to have to keep my eyes open for cute towels.
My grandma used to make towels with aprons like this! She would make little ones for us kids too. Such a great idea I’m glad you posted it!
This is perfect, especially for me this time of year! I have around 300 cookies to bake and my son and I always do them. This is a perfect idea I can make and use the adult and kid style aprons. THANKS Bunches!
I made one last night! It turned out cute. I used red plaid towels I found at the dollar store. My mom has been asking for an apron, so I’ll be giving this one to her! Great idea- thanks!
