Repurpose Wedding Invitations into Ornaments
by heather
Mrs. Green Tea at Wedding Bee came up with a fun way to repurpose leftover wedding invitations into a great first-year holiday ornament. She trimmed her leftover ornaments into strips of varying widths and then rolled them really tightly into scrolls. Love this idea for more than just weddings. It would be fun for a "Baby's First" ornament (use birth announcements), or maybe a graduation year ornament. Of course, you can use this idea to reuse any important memento that you happen to have a surplus of. I love those clear glass ornaments - they're so fun and customizable! Project Estimate:
- Leftover invitations, on hand
- Clear glass ornaments, $.50 or so each (get at craft store)
Total: About $.50 each
