Make 10-Minute Tube Socks from a Scarf
by heather

Need to warm your piggies up in a hurry? Reader Heather at My Frugal Family used a fuzzy dollar store scarf to create these quick and cozy tube socks. Take ten minutes out of your day and make a pair! While you're at it, make some matching baby legs or a scarf snake! Thanks to Heather for posting about these on the Dollar Store Crafts Facebook page! [click here to find out how to make socks out of a dollar store scarf]

What a great project! And so easy, too! Thanks for the link. I think the baby leg warmers are so cute, too… Keep the great ideas coming!
I love these! Especially since my sock knitting plans are moving along slowly! I hope there are a few scarfs left when I get over to the Dollar Store! Thank goodness it isn’t in YOUR neighborhood!
Could you do the same thing to make slippers?
Anna-
I haven’t tried yet, but that was actually something I do want to try. I am hoping to use the scarf for the top, and then blanket or whip stitch fleece to the bottom, and add fabric paint for traction.
