Cynthia from Cynchronicity was the super secret stashbuster known as Miss Pink. Okay, I'm kidding about the Miss Pink thing, but she did receive the pink package of random supplies I sent. She's been busy crafting away, and making all kinds of fun stuff! Check out her intro post here. One of my favorite things she has made so far is this pretty frame. She used a pink felt doily I sent, and I love how she deconstructed it to make it an interesting component of her project!

Project Estimate:

  • Unfinished wooden frame, $1
  • Felt doily, 6 for $1
  • Acrylic paint, on hand
  • Recycled cardboard, on hand
  • Glue, on hand

Total: $1 and up

This is the back of a very cool coiled wool felt necklace. She used a stiff bit of fabric to make the tube to hang the necklace from - very smart, don't you think?

Cynthia has devoted a whole bunch of posts at her blog, so be sure to check them out!

Cool idea for a Mother's Valentine

Oh Pink! Pink is my favorite color, too! This post has me wishing I was the lucky recipient of the pink package. It’s also inspired me to do a little stash-busting of pink things myself. Hmmm… possibilities.

I love her creations! ESPECIALLY that necklace, it’s so delicate and sweet. Got to go figure out how she made it. Good going, Cynthia!
