Make a $3 Onesie Dress
by heather
If you frequent the Dollar Tree, you know they usually have onesies in stock. Cheri from I Am Momma - Hear Me Roar combined a dollar store onesie with a couple of dishtowels to create this cute summer ensemble for a lucky baby girl. One of the great things about sewing with dishtowels is that a lot of times you can use the existing hems, so it makes for super-quick sewing projects. If you are afraid of sewing, dishtowels are decent entry-level materials to work with. [get the $3 onesie dress tutorial] [via]
Project Estimate:
- Onesie, $1
- 2 dishtowels, $2
- Trim and buttons, on hand
- Sewing machine, thread, and scissors, on hand
Total: $3

How clever and cute!
I love this! So many of use leave our babies in onesies during the summer months anyway, but a baby sporting this onesie would be heads above the rest! It is just so cute!
