Use a piece of double-sided scrapbook paper and some dollar store clear contact paper to make a sturdy no-sew pencil case that fits in your 3-ring binder. What a perfect craft project to get everyone ready for going back to school. If you don't have contact paper, you can use clear packing tape, or use plain paper and duct tape for a masculine version of the project. Find instructions at Craft Jr. [how to make a pencil case]

Project Estimate:

  • 12x12 piece of scrapbooking paper, on hand or $1
  • Clear contact paper, $1
  • Velcro dots, on hand or $1
  • Hole punch

Total: $1 and up

p.s. Please consider pledging to help me print my craft magazine! $5 will get you a copy of the zine. $25 will get you vegan lip balm, and $100 will get you 2 months of advertising on CROQzine.com.
