Want to recycle your t-shirts, but hate to sew? Here’s the perfect project for you: a no-sew recycled t-shirt tote bag. This clever project was designed by one of my favorite crafty people, Lee Meredith at leethal. Use these tote bags to bring home your groceries, to take an extra set of clothes to the gym, or for pretty much anything else you can think of. This would be a fabulous slumber party activity for girls, or a fun fundraiser, summer camp or scout activity. Oh, and it would also be fun for a big girls’ craft night. Project Estimate:
- A recycled t-shirt, on hand
- Scissors, on hand

love this:) used a zip tie to thread through the bottom of the bag and fasten the loop- one extra supply, but i had it here at the house, and found it easier than the safety pin

LOVE This!! Just made my first one and it turned out perfect!! Well ok so maybe I cut a little too much around the sleeves but it’s cool… I have a new variation :) Where it was cut down too far I just bunched the fabric together, and cut some small holes then used more fabric strips to tie up the sides. (Hope that makes sense) It looks really cute and adds a “fringe” look to it!! Also I didn’t have a safety pin so i just tied the strip to the end of a bobby pin and it worked just fine! Thanks for the idea :)
