Doily Wall Art

I’m a fan of doilies. And color. And simple crafts with a big wow-factor. This project is all of those things! My friend Amy at Mod Podge Rocks! took some colorful crocheted doilies she got at the Michael’s dollar bins and made this pretty wall art. The doilies actually came in these colors, which is amazing. If you can’t find these specific doilies at your local store, the dollar store usually carries packages of crocheted doilies (they come in white, off-white, and forest green), or check your local thrift store’s linen section for doilies. You can dye them yourself with fabric dye, or paint them with watered-down acrylic craft paint. [how to make colorful doily wall art]

p.s. I got to meet Amy in person a couple weeks ago when I went to CHA, and I have to say she is one of my favorite craft bloggers and one of my best friends. I love how she put this project together! When I grow up I want to craft like Amy.
