It happens to me all the time: I forget about a birthday party until the last minute, and when I go to wrap my hastily-made gift, I realize that the only wrapping paper I have on hand is Christmas-themed. Ever the clever one, Jeromina from Paper, Plate, and Plane came up with a solution appropriate for any event: date stamp wrapping paper! Make custom wrapping paper specifically for a birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, or any holiday or occasion by stamping kraft paper with the date of the event. You’ll never be lacking the right wrapping paper ever again! [how to make date stamp custom wrapping paper]
Project estimate:
- Kraft paper, $1
- Date rubber stamp, on hand or $1 and up
- Ink pad (if date stamp is not self-inking), on hand or $1 and up
Total: $1 and up

Such a good idea and looks fantastic.
I bought a date stamp just because, and I never actually found a use for it. I’ll definitely get it out and used now. Thanks

stock up on wrapping paper the day after christmas- buy all the plain colors or ones that don’t look christmas-y. then you always have paper on hand the rest of the year!
