Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved collecting souvenir pressed pennies. Every time I saw a machine, I would plead with my parents for their spare change. Somewhere I have a whole pile of them, which I’ve been thinking about searching for ever since I spotted this pressed penny charm bracelet by Val of Collecting the Moments. If you’re taking a family vacation this summer, keep an eye out for the machines (they’re seriously everywhere!) and make yourself a special souvenir from the trip! [how to make a pressed penny charm bracelet]
Project estimate:
- Souvenir pressed pennies, on hand or $0.51 each
- Chain, on hand or $1 and up
- Clasp, on hand or $1 and up
- Jump rings, on hand or $1
Total: Free and up

How did u punch the holes in the pennies tho?
rhonda
@steph – she used a metal awl and a hammer to punch the holes. Go to her blog for complete instructions – there is a link to the project tutorial at the end of the first paragraph in brackets [like this]. :)
