Bottle caps are just one of those difficult-to-throw-away things. They’re so colorful and fun, and there are so many crafty things you can do with them! Jenny from A Bird in the Hand used a handful of them to make a funky flower that she mounted on a chopstick so it can serve as a plant stake. Too cute! You could also turn one into a brooch, or hang a grouping of them on the wall. Can you think of other uses for them? [how to make a recycled bottle cap flower]
Project estimate:
- Bottle caps, on hand
- Can lid, on hand
- Pliers, on hand
- Glue, on hand
- Chopstick, on hand or $1

I saw art made from old road signs this weekend and loved the idea, but thought I couldn’t do anything like it. The bottlecap idea just changed my mind. Thanks!

I was wondering what to do with all of those beer bottle caps that I have been saving. Thanks for the idea. Tami
