Let’s face it everything is cuter when it’s smaller, toy dogs, mini cupcakes, children. So, this week we were asked to make something smaller.  Whether that was using shrinky dinks, felting or making a miniature, it was is up to us. [See all the submissions from Iron Craft]

Melinda Hileman’s Submission: Shrinky Dink Jewelry

Shrinky Dink EarringsShrinky Dink PendantsMelinda made a few items this week since she didn’t know what would turn out well once baked in the oven.

First, she made herself a set of colorful earrings complete with coordinating beads.

Then she made a few pendants. Three of them were from a rubber stamp, and colored before baking. Coordinating beads were added to the green pendants. Her favorite is the wonky birthday cake! Although the pendant/charm is small, the whimsy is what makes it stand out.

Note: Melinda apologizes for the bad pictures. Also, all the pendants are for sale, so if you’d like a better picture of one, let her know in the comments!
