Turn Baby Scribbles into Gift Bows

I'm one of those people who can't give a gift, even a tiny one, without adding a bow or some other decoration to the wrapping.  Wrapping paper alone is not enough to satisfy the obsessive crafter inside of me!  With gift wrapping season swiftly sneaking up on us, it's the perfect time to share this gift bow tutorial from Rachel at Lines Across My Face.  She used her little ones' scribbled drawings cut into strips to assemble unique bows.  It's a great way to use those stacks and stacks of paper that your toddler lovingly doodled!  (She also made some with recycled newspaper that look really cute!)  [how to turn baby scribbles into gift bows]

Project estimate:

  • Paper, on hand
  • Markers or crayons, on hand
  • Scissors, on hand
  • Glue, on hand

Total:  Free

What a fabulous idea! I’ve been saving bits of my daughters’ art for years and this makes it all worthwhile. I can hardly wait to try it out! Thanks for the creativity.
