Decor balls are hot, hot, hot right now!  I’ve been seeing them popping up all over the blogosphere, noticed them in magazine spreads, and browsed through the dozens of different designs I saw last time I went to Pier One Imports.  In a blog post at Flamingo Toes, DSC reader Beverly also points out that they are easy to change with the seasons.  She brings us these lovely mummy-wrapped balls featuring creepy eyes!  (She also has a bunch of other fun Halloween projects to check out on her blog, so be sure to stop by!)

After making an attempt at the project using paper to print the eye clipart images, Beverly discovered that it is best to print the images onto fabric.  Her tutorial includes easy directions for printing on fabric, which is a technique I can see having endless possibilities!  [how to make mummy-wrapped eye balls]
