Check out these cute animal bookends made by Cassie at Hi, Sugarplum. She found the elephants in Target's dollar spot, and with a few other supplies she had on hand, transformed them into a useful, and stylish item to help her organize her bookcase. [how to make elephant bookends]
Cassie only used a few items to make these (including, hilariously, her driveway - as a file for the elephants' feet!), but if you have to buy everything, you will still be able to make these for less than $10.
Project Estimate:
- 2 plastic elephants, $2
- 2 bricks or flat landscaping rocks, free from your yard or $1 each
- Spray paint, on hand or $3
- Super glue or other glue that will work with plastic & brick, on hand or $1
Total: $2 and up

Love this idea! They’d be perfect with plastic dinosaurs too! Thanks for sharing, now I need to go out and find some animals for bookends.
LOVE this! Going to do it in my daughter’s room!
