Over at Rust & Sunshine, Michelle created a quick and easy coaster project that uses Mardi Gras beads and shows them off to the greatest advantage. If you want a different look, spray paint the beads first. If you spray them white, they will have a nice romantic cottage/Shabby Chic look.
