gold bug ring

Threadbanger Corinne has been one of my favorite crafters for, like, ever. In this video tutorial, she blew my mind with these gold bug accessories that she made with bugs from the dollar store. She made a gold ladybug ring, and also bejeweled some other bugs and creatures to create high-end looking accessories with a dollar store budget. For the ring, project estimate:

  • Dollar store insects, $1
  • Ring pops, $1
  • E-6000 glue, on hand or $4 a tube (you should have this on hand by now! come on!)
  • Gold spray paint, about $5
  • Small rhinestones, $1
  • Lime green acrylic paint or paint pen, $1 and up
  • Toothpick, on hand

Total: $9 for a bunch of different accessories
