One of my favorite things about fall is the changing of the leaves. So of course, leaf crafts are high on my list of things I love about fall as well! Inspired by a similar project she'd done previously using tissue paper, Michele from Better Organized Living used fabric stiffener and a package of silk leaves to fashion a festive, seasonal display piece. Her directions call for fabric stiffener, but if you don't have any on hand Mod Podge will do the job as well. Use the leaf bowl by itself for decorative purposes, or for food use line it with a regular bowl to make it food safe. [how to make a decorative fall leaves bowl]
Project estimate:
- Silk leaves, $1
- Bowl, on hand
- Plastic wrap, on hand
- Cooking spray, on hand
- Fabric stiffener, on hand or about $3 and up
Total: $1 and up
