I used to think birdhouses were a spring decor item. And traditionally, they probably were considered by most to be a spring-y thing. But I’ve always been one to break from tradition and do the unexpected, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I have come to appreciate birdhouses throughout the year! This Christmas-themed example was made by Carissa from Carissa’s Creativity Space using a $1 birdhouse she found at JoAnn’s. She trimmed it out with some gorgeous ribbon from May Arts – isn’t it fabulous? (We’re also giving away 5 rolls of amazing May Arts ribbon – make sure you check it out and enter to win!) Project estimate:
- Birdhouse, $1 and up
- Ribbon, on hand or $1 and up
- Felt, on hand or $1
- Hot glue, on hand
Total: $1 and up
