Make Mini Disco Balls (via dollarstorecrafts.com)

Happy last day of 2012!  (Can you believe it's over already?!)  If you're feeling festive today, here's a great little project for you!  Victoria from Handmade Charlotte used some sequins to adorn these tiny disco ball decorations.  They would look fabulous as table scatter on a buffet table, or you could add ribbons or strings for hanging.  Either way, it'll be hard not to catch Disco Fever!  (Careful, it's highly contagious!)  [how to make mini disco balls]

Project estimate:

  • Foam balls, $1
  • Sequins, on hand or $1
  • Glue, on hand

Total:  $1 and up

I made these when I was in elementary school, but we used small straight pins instead of glue. The effect was really quite stunning, and you can create patterns/pictures. What fun!
