Saint Patrick's Day headband

When my best friend and I were shopping for bug party craft ideas at our local dollar store, we knew that we could turn these St. Patrick’s Day headbands into something great.

We peeled off the shamrocks to reveal a metal loop and the end of the green fabric covering the curly que.

snip wire with wire cuttersThen we used wire cutters to snip off the loop. We’d smashed the loop with pliers first but decided the best course was to remove the loop completely.

hot glue pom pomThen apply a small dab of glue to the end of the antenna. Be sure to get glue on both the fabric and the wire before applying the pom pom.

That’s it! Give it a minute to set up and your littlest bug squad member is ready for action!
