I love plastic Easter egg crafts – in large part because it seems like I always end up with exponentially more of them every year, even if I don’t buy any. I swear they multiply like rabbits. …Or you can turn them into rabbits! Christina from I Gotta Create! originally made these plastic egg bunnies using chenille stems, which are also adorable, but her ribbon-eared ones take the cute factor over the top! (And, as a ribbon hoarder, I’m a fan of anything that’s an excuse to dig into my stash!) [how to make ribbon-eared Easter egg bunnies]
Project estimate:
- Plastic Easter eggs, on hand or $1
- Wire-edged ribbon, on hand or $1
- Pom poms, on hand or $1
- Glue, on hand
Total: Free and up

What a fun activity! Thanks so much for sharing.
I didn’t have any wire edged ribbon on hand so I actually stiffened some grosgrain ribbon AND some satin ribbon (using the fabric stiffener spray i already had on hand) the night before and my daughter and I ended up using those for the ears and they worked just as great! She even came up with the cute idea of stiffening one ear halfway up so it the tip of it flopped over a bit! Too cute!
Thanks again for sharing!
