I don’t sew very often, but when I do I am adamant about proper storage of the needles. I made the mistake once of misplacing a needle after I set it down for just a few minutes. I laid it on the coffee table so that I could use my hands to do something else on the project but when I went to grab it again it was gone, and unfortunately I located it with the sole of my foot days later. Trust me, it’s a mistake I only want to make once, and if possible you never want to make it at all. Whether it’s for long-term storage or to set your needle down for just a moment, this two-in-one needle storage solution from Diane at Crafty Pod leaves you with no excuse for losing your sharps. (Unless it’s more of a case of being clumsy and dropping the needle. I’ve done that before too. Oops.) [how to make a needle book with pin cushion]

Thank you so much for the feature, Heather! I’ve totally done that find-needle-with-foot thing too. :-)
