What would you do with cheap salt shakers and a collection of vintage buttons? Maggie at Eyeballs by Day, Crafts by Night took those materials and turned them into adorable little bouquets! These would be cute on a shelf or mantel, or worked into table decor at a party or family gathering as place card holders or mini centerpieces. They would also make cute gifts! These are just too darned cute!!! I suggested them to Arlee who’d ask for suggestions for centerpieces for her wedding. I’d already suggested an “Ivy bowl” centerpiece using real or battery operated candles, colored rice/floral crystals/sand, and ribbon as the main portion of the centerpiece, then use two of these salt shaker bouquets to finish it off. With the shakers being 2 for $1 she’d have less then 5 dollars per table in centerpiece. ULTA CHEAP in todays high priced wedding decor!!!
Can just see these filled with colored rice (white rice and food coloring in a plastic bag – almost instant colored rice)! Just change the colors out for every occasions – including the color of flowers!!!
