Make Easy Superhero Capes

When Jessica from Mad in Crafts threw her son a superhero-themed birthday party, she knew that capes would be a fun thing to have on hand for the kids.  So she whipped up a whole stack of them, cleverly using thrifted t-shirts!  They make a great party favor - or just a fun addition to a dress-up collection - and they're a great way to give new life to an old tee.  You can leave them as plain, solid colors, or you could even use felt to add superhero logos to them!  [how to make an easy superhero cape]

Project estimate:

  • T-shirt, on hand or $1
  • Scissors, on hand

Total:  Free and up!
