A few weeks ago, I shared how you can tint your own lip balm, using no special materials. Well, I also experimented with creating eyeshadow balm, and I shared my findings and instructions over at eBay. [how to make eyeshadow balm]
You can use lip balm and old eye shadows you already have on hand, or you can make a quick trip to the dollar store for some fresh ingredients. Either way, you will spend about $2 or less for 2 eye shadow balms.
Materials:
- Lip Balm in tubes (2 for $1 at the dollar store)
- Eye Shadow (a collection of old eye shadows is fine, or $1 at the dollar store)
- A microwaveable glass measuring cup with a pouring spout (1 cup size or less)
- A butter knife
- Your microwave
Total cost: $2 for 2 eye shadow balms

Though they sound cool, I’d be concerned that the lip balm ingredients would irritate the already super-sensitive skin around the eye….

@F The ingredients are all approved for cosmetic use, but definitely discontinue if you experience any problems.
