Claudine Hellmuth posted a how-to for this adorable music paper village. The houses are lit using battery-operated tea light candles. I love this project! I will have to make a special stop at the dollar store (oh darn!) to pick up the tea lights, because I am definitely making these!

Project Materials:

  • Music paper and scrapbooking paper, on hand or $1 (or print out some sheet music from online)
  • Paint, on hand or $.50
  • Glue, on hand
  • Assorted scrap fabric or felt, on hand
  • Battery operated tea light candle, 2 for $1

Total cost: $1 or so
