Sew Scrappy Tree Ornaments

I love these scrappy trees from Monda Loves. She sews sheets of scraps and then cuts them into tree shapes to create these adorable Christmas ornaments. Check her blog for a lot more eye candy, too!

I love using scraps! Monda's method for leaving unfinished edges makes this super simple, too. I want to use all my scraps up this way! I can just see adorable stockings made this way, as well.

Project Estimate:

  • Assorted scraps, on hand
  • Embroidery floss or cord, on hand
  • Sewing stuff, on hand

Total Cost: FREE

Love this idea – I have tons of scraps. I think the stocking idea is great – I need to make a few.

I finished one stocking using this idea – I loved how it turned out. I will try and make more next year.
