Nina Roussarie posted this fun tutorial at Threadbanger on how to make a party dress from recycled bath poufs! The thing I like most about the tute is that it gives you a little bit of dressmaking how-to along with it, which is useful. You can get bath poufs at the dollar store at two for $1.

Project Estimate:

  • 6-7 bath poufs, $3-4
  • Fabric, on hand
  • Zipper or other closures, $1-5

Total cost: $4 and up
