Make a Fashion-Inspired Feathered Blazer
by heather
Fashionista shows us how to create a look similar to a $765 Elizabeth & James (the fashion line by Mary Kate & Ashley Olson) blazer for a fraction of the price. The black blazer features a fuzzy line of feathers along the waistline, and the clever remake attaches the feather trim with velcro to keep the look of the blazer flexible.
Project Estimate:
- Feather trim $10/yard
- Black blazer (on hand, thrifted, or bought from discount store like H&M or Target)
- Velcro strip $1
- Needle & thread (on hand)
Total cost: $11 and up, a savings of $754!
