Make a Fashion-Inspired Feathered Blazer

Fashionista shows us how to create a look similar to a $765 Elizabeth & James (the fashion line by Mary Kate & Ashley Olson) blazer for a fraction of the price. The black blazer features a fuzzy line of feathers along the waistline, and the clever remake attaches the feather trim with velcro to keep the look of the blazer flexible.

Project Estimate:

  • Feather trim $10/yard
  • Black blazer (on hand, thrifted, or bought from discount store like H&M or Target)
  • Velcro strip $1
  • Needle & thread (on hand)

Total cost: $11 and up, a savings of $754!
