8track

Fans of the cassette tape wallet (or coin purse or handbag) might also like the instructions for this fabĀ  8 Track tape wallet from Tissuepapers. You young whippersnappers might not even know what an 8 track is, and some of us older whippersnappers only barely remember them, but you can still find them at certain grandparents' houses (old beach houses are also a good place to find them, in my experience!), or thrift stores if you keep your eye out for them.

You will also need a few tools and other on-hand items. You can use stuff from your stash, or pick up some of them at the dollar store. You'll probably need to reclaim a long zipper from an old sweatshirt, or buy one at the fabric store.

Project Estimate:

  • 8 track tape, on hand or thrifted, $.50
  • hot glue gun, on hand
  • fabric, on hand
  • pliers, on hand (or pick up at the dollar store if you don't have, $1)
  • long zipper, on hand or $1-3

FREE to $4.50

This is great! I don’t think I’d ever use it, but I would be great to say I had one.

How does one scream in text? AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Please stay away from my cartridge collection. Seriously. I’d really hate to see someone butcher an old Grand Funk or Vanilla Fudge tape. That just ain’t right, I tells ya.
