Make a Framed Silhouette

Krista at Cheapie Cheapie made this great silhouette of her daughter for her mom for Mother's Day and gave it a nice twist by using pretty scrapbooking paper for the background. I have been meaning to make silhouettes of my boys because I just love those little chubby cheeks and I think they need to be preserved in black paper!! Thanks for sharing, Krista! You can find all the supplies you need at the dollar store.

Project Estimate:

  • Black cardstock, on hand or $.20 each
  • Scrapbook paper, on hand or $.20 each
  • 5x7 frame, $1
  • Profile pic of your subject, on hand
  • Ribbon (optional), on hand or $1
  • Scissors, glue, etc.

Total cost: $1 and up
