Make a Necklace Holder

Reader Wendy made this very cute necklace and bracelet holder from salvaged drawer pull knobs, dollar store frames and scrapbook paper. Great idea for storing and displaying jewelry! I still need to make some jewelry storage for myself. These look very doable! [link to project]

You can put any kind of paper (or photo!) in the frame. It would be fun to do a picture of your kids and make this as a gift for grandma (or for yourself). I love the drawer pulls on this, too. They look streamlined and stylish.

Project Estimate:

  • Frame, $1
  • Scrapbook paper, on hand or $.20
  • Drawer pulls, $1
  • E-6000 glue, on hand

Total: $2 and up

Did you glue the knobs on TOP of the bottom “ledge” or actually TO the bottom of the frame? (if that makes any sense)

The knobs were glued to the glass with E6000 glue (holds solid objects to glass well).

I used small hooks instead of knobs to make a key holder. Thanks for the great idea! Thank goodness someone else can be crafty for me. I can NEVER think of these things!
