Reader Kathryn (aka KMOM14) has been prolifically making lots of cool crafts over at her blog. She posted this Pop Art Journal the other day, and I just love the short-fatness of it! You can use any recycled cardboard you have to make a unique journal for yourself. [link to project instructions]

At first glance I thought it was made of a recycled soda can, which would also be SUPER awesome (someone make one, okay?). You can use any kind of paper, photos, or other embellishment to make this according to your own style.

Project Estimate:

  • Recycled cardboard boxes, on hand
  • Piece of felt, $.20 or on hand
  • White office paper, on hand
  • Craft glue, on hand
  • Hot glue gun, on hand

Total: FREE and up
