Make a Mini Toolbelt
by heather

Erin (LilyBee) at Wee Baby Stuff made this adorable mini toolbelt for her little guy, including safe foam versions of tools! How cute is that? I love it when I come across clever crafts for boys because I have two little guys myself (and it seems like more crafting online is done for girls--maybe it just seems that way to me because I'm jealous of all the moms who get to make cute skirts for their daughters!). My 3 year-old son just said "maybe you can make a little tool belt for ME!" Now if you're not a parent, don't click away just yet! Erin takes us through all the steps of making the belt including constructing roomy pockets out of a reusable grocery bag. Such a great idea, and it would work for toolbelts for anyone. Craft toolbelt, ladies? I need a holster for my glue gun! [click here for full project instructions]
Project Estimate:
- A re-usable shopping bag, $1 or on hand
- A kid-sized belt, $1 or on hand
- A plastic key chainy thing, on hand (optional)
- Tools are made from one piece of foam floor tile, $1
Total: $1 and up

My 2yo daughter would love this! (We are always having to get her out of the toolbox. lol)
I can’t get the tutorial to load. Is it just my computer?
It worked for me when I tried it today!
