Pruning your trees? Save a couple of small branches to make this fun woodland-inspired vase from Natural Home. You can cover a recycled can with wooden discs and spend no money on this project. These would be fun decor for an outdoor party, or a nice way to bring the outdoors inside your home. [click here for project instructions] [via OPT]

Project Estimate:

  • Several small branches from trees or bushes, ranging from ½ to 1½  inches in diameter, on hand
  • Terra cotta pots, old vases or recycled tin cans, on hand
  • Glue, on hand
  • Coarse sandpaper, on hand

Total: FREE

This is so cute! You could probably make these for craft fairs and sell them all day long. Adorable.

I can’t wait to try this! I homeschool my two youngest and this seems like a super easy/fun activity for them!

I love your website too! Keep the ideas coming! ;)
