Time to decorate for Chanukah, which begins on Saturday, December 12th! Sara, aka Creative Jewish Mom always has a lot of great ideas, and she made this adorable Chanukah bunting using a Styrofoam printing technique (always a fun one for the kids!). This would be a fun project for the family to do together. [get the details on this Chanukah bunting]

Project Estimate:

  • Recycled Styrofoam trays, on hand
  • Acrylic paint, on hand
  • Card stock, on hand
  • Ribbon, on hand or $1

Total: FREE and up

Hi Heather, Thanks so much for linking to me with this project.
Jewish holidays actually start at night, so it’s a bit confusing to look on a regular calender. We will be lighting the first candle on the evening of Friday December 11th. All the best!

Awesome idea using the styrofoam. Just had a brilliant thought: I could do this to make my daughter a “signature” stamp – she’s 3 so having her sign her name on drawings, cards etc. is a challenge, (and me doing it seems….weird?) but she loves seeing her name on everything! SO – I’ll make her a stamp of her name from styrofoam, glue it to something sturdy, and ta da!
