Dpillow cover purse
I was so excited to find pillow covers at one of my local dollar stores this week!  When I saw this one, I knew exactly what I wanted to make:  Little purses for my nieces!  From one 16″x16″ pillow cover and a couple items I had on hand, I made two little purses.  SCORE!!

These little purses are simply constructed, but still lined.  They close with a fold-over flap, which makes them easy for little hands to open and close without worrying about zippers, buttons or snaps.  Super easy and super cute!  [get instructions]

Project Estimate

  • pillow cover, $1
  • cording, ribbon, or chain for handle, on hand
  • vintage button or other embellishment, on hand

Total:  $1 for two!
