Make a Felt Flower Corsage

This felt wrist corsage is so adorable. Nikki at The Salty Pineapple (great blog! lots of fun ideas!) made these for her daughter's preschool class, but I think they would be so fun for a Prom corsage (I know, it's way too much to expect a teenage boy to make one of these for his date, but if she's the least bit quirky/crafty, wouldn't she just DIE?). A girl can dream, right? We can still make these for all the little girls we know! [get the tutorial for making a felt wrist corsage here]

So, I have trouble making pretty-looking cuts in felt, but what if you substituted faux flowers? I think that would be cute, too.

Project Estimate:

  • Felt, various colors, on hand or $.20 a sheet
  • Tulle, on hand or $1 (wedding section at the dollar store)
  • Button, on hand
  • Ribbon, on hand or $1
  • Elastic band or elastic, on hand or $1

Total: FREE and up
