Don’t let the last days of summer get you down! This is a perfect time to do a couple of late-summer craft projects. I’ve found a bunch of projects around (from readers, from my blog reading lists, and just random hunting) for you to try. Oh, and before you check these out, can you consider pledging $5 to pre-order my craft zine? I need to raise $900 in the next 11 days. For any pledge over $1, you get goodies!

I like the red-topped salt and pepper containers!
As part of my kitchen organization and my open-shelving conundrum, I did something similar. I found some big apothecary jars (like mason jars but the lids are glass with a rubber gasket) for a great deal at Big Lots and put sugar, flour and rice in them. So cute!
Trying to decide the cutest way to label them. Might have to get some of that chalkboard fabric…
